Echelon Attempts to Target Disgruntled Peloton Members

Echelon thinks Peloton Bike/+ owners are looking for a reason to downgrade… They are targeting disgruntled Peloton members with an interesting new trade-in program that allows you to say goodbye to your, um…. Peloton?? Echelon says you can get an instant rebate of $1,000 for the Echelon Connect EX-8s Bike or $500 for the Echelon Connect EX-5s-22 Bike (whatever those are) when you trade in a Peloton Bike or Peloton Bike+. (Or NordicTrack S22i because why not?) For any other bike trade-in, you can receive a $250 instant rebate on either the Echelon Connected EX-8s or the Echelon Connected EX-5s-22.

Echelon notes that the Echelon Stride and Echelon Stride-5s are excluded, the promotion does not guarantee white glove delivery, and a Premier Membership is required and sold separately. Also, rebates are subject to verification; trade-in bikes will be picked up and photographed by third-party partners.

For more, visit Echelon’s website or contact them at 1 (833) YES-BIKE. And also, we would love to hear why you made the switch if you do!

Also, if you’re curious about some of the legal battles Peloton and Echelon have had, you can learn more in past episodes here, and here!
